Superb ultra rare German WW2 Doppel Trommel Saddle magazine for the MG15/34.
Outside of body has some surface rust, but this will remove and magazine will restore nicely. There are no holes at all and the whole thing is very solid.A lot of the bluing is still there. Most of the ribbing on the sides are still blued, but have surface rust in between, still very solid as mentioned.
Inside is superb condition, still greased and oiled. Fully functioning.Springs are strong and working.
Very slight kink to outer removable cover, but doesnt seem to affect its alignment or fit over the mechanism. It has three cover screws missing, but im sure the right person could find replacements. The top canvas strap has gone, but an easy item to replace. The hinged bracket and end are still there and still pivot.
Apart from that, which i regard as cosmetic, wont affect it at all , its truely a superb item.
